Contest Information
- Karaoke Super Stars hosted twelve (12) qualifying
contests at Indian Lanes (4500 13th Street, Wyandotte,
MI) from Friday, February 3, 2006 through Friday,
April 21, 2006. two contestants were selected to
advance to the local finals.
- The qualifiers competed in the local finals at
Indian Lanes on Friday, April 28, 2006. Motown legends,
Joe Billingslea and THE CONTOURS and Bobby Rogers
of the Miracles judged the event. Tony Thompson
and Leah French were selected to advance to the
State of Michigan Regional Finals.
- The regional finals will take on Saturday, May
13, 2006 in East Lansing, Michigan. Contestants
who qualify for the national finals will win a trip
to Las Vegas, Nevada (airfare and hotel) to compete
in the national contest.
- The national contest will be held at the Hilton
Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, June 25 and
Monday, June 26, 2005. Contestants will fly in on
June 24, 2006 and fly out on June 27, 2006.
- The winners of the national contest receive:
- 1st Place - $5,000
- 2nd Place - $2,000
- 3rd Place - $1,000
