General
Contest Information
- Between Friday, February 1, 2008 and Friday, April
18, 2008, Karaoke Super Stars hosted a total of
twelve (12) qualifying contests at Taylor Lanes
(24800 Eureka Road, Taylor, MI). Each week two contestants
were selected to advance to the local finals.
- The qualifiers competed in the local finals at
Taylor Lanes on Friday, April 25, 2008. Joe Billingslea
& Al Chisholm of The Contours and Rosalind Holmes
of the Original Vandellas judges the event. Two
winners advanced to the State of Michigan Regional
Finals.
- The regional finals will take place in May 2008
at a Ford Lanes in Taylor. One contestant will win
a trip for two to Orlando, Florida (airfare and
hotel) to compete in the international contest.
- The International contest will be held in June
2008 in Orlando, Florida at a venue to be announced.
- The winners of the international contest receive:
- 1st Place - $5,000
- 2nd Place - $2,000
- 3rd Place - $1,000
